London in July

So my family wants to bring me on a trip to London next summer if we can pull it off. The problem is, they don't want to do anything exciting. My Dad wants to go to a graveyard where some of our ancestors are born and then go look at bookshops. My Mom is fixated on that huge building with the clock on it. I really don't care about any of that stuff. I am in love with anything that is remotely related to nature and culture, and I like taking time to stop, eat, meet people with great stories while i search for the most beautiful nature London has to offer. So my question is, where is the most beautiful nature and cultural spots in London?

    That seems awesome enough. I would love to see other culture besides the super materialistic one that I am engulfed in now.

    Being an englishman, and having been to london, I can say that one of the best places to go that is kinda naturey would be covent gardens. And Hyde park...definitely hyde park. Hell all of the parks.
    And aside from the naturey stuff, sight seeing is pretty fun, like joey and chandler from friends lol

    I used to live there when I was young, the big clock is Big Ben. Central London would be the place to go, it's pretty touristy but it's by far the best place to go in London.
    Keep in mind that not everyone will be eating scones and be all like 'whats going on me old china'.
    It's not a bad place, if all goes well I'll be living in London again next year working away.
    Another thing to note is London isn't especially nature like.

    London is a great city, I spent a month there living with a friend of mine. Since my friend lives there, I was able to stay for free and go out with his friends and do things that tourists don't really get to experience. Didn't really do anything nature-related, but I would go to the British Museum or the National Gallery.

    Never been, but I really wanna go so bad. I'll make it there at some point in the next couple of years hopefully. If you plan a day outside of London, England has some amaaaaazing countrysides to enjoy.

    Holidays are usually awful if you have to stick with family the whole times. There's plenty to see in London though, just find some tourist guides online to get some ideas.
